As Oklahoma State Director of Farmers Home Administration from 1993 to 1995, Mr. Rainbolt supervised 283 employees in administration and loan authority for a direct loan portfolio in excess of 1.2 billion dollars comprised of over 25,000 Oklahoma farm, rural housing, rural water, rural business and rural development loans. In addition, Mr. Rainbolt supervised the administration of guaranteed lending by commercial lenders and the awarding of grant funds within the State of Oklahoma. In 1995 and continuing through 2001, as State Director of Rural Development, Mr. Rainbolt assumed management of Rural Electrification Administration and Agriculture Cooperative rural development programs and became the highest-ranking Oklahoma official of Rural Utilities Service, Rural Housing Service and Rural Business Service. Beginning in 2001, and continuing through the present, Mr. Rainbolt became of counsel to the Floyd Law Firm, P.C. and, in this capacity, has continued to help Oklahoma rural communities, water districts and rural trust entities with their public finance needs.
